5-Star - Best of the Best
- Grizzly (1976) - A grizzly bear terrorizes a state park, killing hikers and campers in its path. It’s up to a park ranger and military veteran to save the day. A great film that builds tension with likable characters, good acting, and a good use of practical effects.
4-Star - Top 10 Worthy
- N/A
3-Star - Entertaining Watch
- Unnatural (2015) - A group of unsuspecting cabin dwellers get trapped in a horrifying game of cat and mouse when a genetically-modified creature escapes into the wild. Despite some odd direction, this is a good film with likable characters and good effects.
- The Shelter (2024) - On a solo hike through the woods, a young woman discovers a starving bear is hunting her. Only one of them is getting out of there alive. A great film that suffers from a budget constraint; however, the main character is likable, and you root for her.
2-Star - Could've Been Better
- Monster Grizzly (2023) - Agitated by the constant fracking in its territory, a ravenous grizzly bear emerges from a blinding blizzard to attack the residents of a small town. A decent film but it's the low budget and some poor writing choices that hurt it.
1-Star - Total Garbage
- Grizzly Rage (2007) - A road trip for four buddies turns into a lesson in survival when they accidentally hit a bear cub and suffer the wrath of the mother Grizzly. This film was hurt by terrible writing, poor acting, and a premise that doesn't fully realize its potential.
