Transformers: Dark of the Moon - SNS Review



Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a 2011 sci fi, action film directed by Michael Bay based on the Transformers toy line. The film is the third installment in the Transformers film series and serves as a sequel to 2009’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The story picks up three years after the previous film, with the Autobots, who along with the military discover a hidden alien technology that was found 42 years earlier by Apollo 11. However, the Decepticons unveil a plan to use the technology to enslave humanity in order to restore the planet of the Transformers called Cybertron. The film stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Kevin Dunn, Julie White, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, Keiko Agena, Lester Speight, Josh Stone, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, Glenn Morshower, Buzz Aldrin, Bill O’Reilly, Elya Baskin, and voice actors include Peter Cullen, Hugo Weaving, Charlie Adler, Leonard Nimoy, Jess Harnell, Robert Foxworth, James Remar, Francesco Quinn, George Coe, Tom Kenny, Reno Wilson, Ron Bottitta, John DiMaggio, Frank Welker, Keith Szarabajka, and Greg Berg.
