Fade to Black on 2025

As 2025 ends, it feels like a long final shot before the credits roll. This year delivered spectacle, surprise, and a few bloated runtimes that should’ve been trimmed in the edit bay. The best films remembered restraint—strong performances, clear themes, and trust in the audience. The worst forgot that louder doesn’t mean better. New Year’s Eve is a cinematic pause, a moment to reflect before the sequel year begins. 2026 is already queued up. Different directors. New risks. Hopefully tighter scripts. Fade out 2025. Roll into the next reel.
